Jean Marie's Story
Hi Friends!
Well, a little about the past 30 years. After High School I moved to Texarkana to attend X-ray school and I've been here since. I've worked in different modalities but for the past 19 years I've worked in the ultrasound department. I LOVE my job!
I'm married to a wonderful man and we will celebrate our 10th in Nov (08). I have one stepdaughter who is almost finished with college and out on her own. Terry (husband) and I live on 40 acres in Simms along with 5 horses, 4 dogs, 2 mules and 1 donkey.
We spend our leisure time riding horses or working our wagon. We also enjoy movies and camping. Sometimes we get to combine all three at once!! A few of our favorite places to go are Decauter, Tx to the LBJ Grasslands, great riding trails. A little closer to home we go to Smithville, OK. The AtoZGuestRanch is an awesome place to camp, ride horses or even 4 wheelers. Another "h...Expand for more

God truly blessed us when we found our land in Simms. We attend a GREAT little church down the road...Siloam Baptist "Cowboy Church" 8:30-9:30, dress casual or comfortable which is right up hubby's alley...along with the fact we are home by 10 and usually saddled and out riding by noon. :-)
Some of you may know that I lost my dad Nov. 26, 2005. He was 85 and had a wonderful life and I MISS HIM each and everyday. My mother is still living and resides here in Texarkana where she is near us.
WOW...30 years since graduation and retirement gets nearer and nearer! I can't wait....we'd LOVE to camp and trailride in the lower 48 (don't think I'd like to haul to Alaska or Hawaii!!).
